Para este Natal tricotei alguns gorros para criança, em tamanhos desde os 6 meses aos 3 anos. Acertar no tamanho é, já só por si, um desafio (e penso ter sido, no geral, bem sucedida), mas resolvi arriscar ainda mais e experimentar também as botinhas de lã e um casaquinho. E posso dizer que adorei a experiência!

For this Christmas, I've knitted some children hats, in sizes from 6 months to 3 years old. Making the correct size is already itself a challenge (which, in general, I have accomplished), but I decided to go further and also try the knitted booties and a small cardigan. And I must say I loved the experience!

2009 Packaging

Estas foram algumas das embalagens enviadas em 2009. Tenho recorrido cada vez mais a materiais reaproveitáveis (pacotes de cereais, revistas, envelopes usados, sacos de papel) e a pequenos detalhes decorativos (carimbos, estampagem, fitas e flores ou folhas secas), tornando o embrulho também único e personalizado. No Natal seguiram também alguns enfeites em feltro, como um pequeno mimo.

These are some of the packages I sent in 2009. I have been using more and more recyclable materials (cereal packets, magazines, used envelopes, paper bags) and small decorative details (stamps, handprinting, ribbons and dried flowers or leaves), making the package one-of-a-kind and more personalized. Christmas packages had also felt ornaments as a small gift to my customers.

There are only three two of these bags left from the Fall/Winter Collection, and I feel some nostalgia, but also a great pride, letting them go their way. Meanwhile, I am working on a new design, which will be launched by the beginning of the upcoming year...

Fall/Winter Collection goes on and now there's a new bag design at the shop! In soft colors and very light, they can easily be folded and carried everywhere (great to replace the typical plastic bag)! Made of 100% cotton fabrics and hand embroidered.
